Doge Labs is among the first groups to treat Doginals as a product suite rather than a GitHub README. Their public claim is specific: an indexer that begins at Dogecoin genesis / Shibescription #0, a Chrome wallet that carries both image Doginals and DRC-20, and a marketplace path using partially signed Dogecoin transactions (PSDT) because Taproot was not available to copy.
Role in the record
We cite Doge Labs as a primary source for the block-0 argument and for early wallet UX, not as the owner of the protocol. Apezord wrote the envelope. Markets wrote the rest. When Doge Labs says other indexers “ignore all transactions prior to” mid-May 2023, that is a factual claim about those programs’ start height. Readers should still verify against the software they actually use.
